This was a joint project with Athens Township and the Athens County Engineer with the cost of design and installation to the County and the purchase cost of the box to the Township using road levy and ARPA funds distributed to Ohio. Access is now restored to Valleyview Estates Subdivision, Pine Grove Heights Subdivision, Richland Area Fire Department, Station 1 and residences on Hooper Road from the installation east to S. The Athens County Engineer installed a box culvert replacing an old one lane bridge. ATHENS TOWNSHIP ROAD 58/HOOPER ROAD REOPENS
